Tuition fees and JDC

On Monday, October 6, we met with Senator for French citizens abroad, Mr. Le Gleut, to discuss matters related to French education overseas. Mr. Le Gleut has always defended the interests of French families living abroad and, more broadly, access to high-quality French education worldwide.

We specifically brought up the issue of the JDC, and we were pleased to learn that it aligns with the actions undertaken by FCPE-Brussels over the past two years. Mr. Le Gleut has already contacted General Givre, who oversees the implementation of the JDC in France, to encourage the development of a version adapted for all French citizens living abroad.
We are therefore pleased to count on a strong ally to help us convince the relevant authorities to reinstate a process accessible to families in Belgium.
